In the 21st century, the increase in job insecurity and employment opportunities gradually diminished. China's population is reaching its peak, and the number of prospective job seekers increases each year. Under these circumstances, entrepreneurship is preferred as a way to break through unsatisfactory situations. Entrepreneurial intention a business is interpreted as the best indicator in predicting an entrepreneurship. The Chinese government is also making efforts to create an innovative start-up environment with the motto of "大衆創業萬 衆革新“. This paper aims to empirically analyze the impact of entrepreneurial competency, independent self-construal, role model, and education among the factors affecting the entrepreneurial intention of young Chinese people. For analysis, a survey was conducted on university students and young people in Jilin Province, China. Based on a total of 270 questionnaires, the T-test, reliability analysis, factor analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were conducted, and the results were as follows. Although it supported the hypothesis that the entrepreneurial competency, independent self-construal, and educational had a positive effect on the entrepreneurial intention, the role model was rejected. It helps to better understand and promote youth entrepreneurship by looking at factors that affect young people's entrepreneurial intentions.
